BRING YOUR OWN ROUTER

Our Fibre plans give you the option to use a router of your choice. However, it's important to know that not all routers are compatible with our network.

It's important that you consider the following:

1. BROADBAND SPEEDS

Using a router that isn't provided by Mercury means that we cannot guarantee your broadband speeds. This is especially the case if the router you bring is already several years old.

2. RECONFIGURATION

Some routers require reconfiguration before they can be used. Our tech support representatives can help with this process should you have any problems.

3. LOCKED ROUTERS

Some companies lock the routers they provide, and they may require you to return them. We recommend checking with your previous provider to see whether this is the case.
